Look for keto-friendly bread at stores like Aldi, Costco, or H-E-B. One of my favorites is Sola brand keto bread — it has a texture and taste close to regular bread. Note: many keto breads are not gluten-free, so check labels if you have a gluten sensitivity. The main benefit is they keep carbs low and work well for this recipe.

Tip: Save and reuse bacon grease for extra flavor. Store cooled bacon fat in a sealed jar or freeze it in ice cube trays. A small spoonful added to sautéed vegetables or eggs boosts flavor and prevents waste.

Air Fryer Keto Omelet Toast — Ingredients

  • 1 slice keto bread
  • 1 egg, whipped (use 2 if needed for larger bread cups)
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon green onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mozzarella, shredded, plus extra for topping
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • Precooked bacon bits or diced ham

Air Fryer Keto Omelet Toast — Instructions

  1. Gently press the center of the bread to form a shallow bowl, keeping the edges intact to hold the egg mixture. Place the prepared bread in the container you’ll use to cook it, since it will be difficult to move after adding the liquid.
  2. Layer the precooked bacon bits (or diced ham) and diced green onion into the bread bowl.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the bacon and onions.
  4. Beat the egg with the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, then pour the mixture into the bread bowl. Depending on egg size and the depth of your bread cup, you may need a second egg.
  5. Top with another tablespoon of shredded mozzarella.
  6. Cook in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and fully melted and the egg is set.
